Who We Are

A Refuge of Hope
in the Midst of Storms

The Anchor Home exists to offer women in crisis a hope greater than their circumstances. Many of our clients are in dire straits. They need a place of safety and people who will help them weather the storm. The Anchor Home is that place with people who will help meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

We believe Jesus is our ultimate hope, so we offer hope in His name.

“We who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us. We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul...”

Firmly Planted in Truth

We put Christ first. We believe that part of his calling to us is to help people in need. Our particular calling is to provide women with a warm bed and good meals in a safe place as they prepare to launch themselves into the next phase of life.

BEN CONDRAY

BOARD PRESIDENT

Ben_Condray

Ben has been with TAH since its inception. He serves as an Associate Pastor and Licensed Professional Counselor. In this role, he oversees both the marriage ministry and the divorce care ministry at his church. He provides counseling for individuals and couples and leads a deacon ministry that supports both his church and the community.

He has been married to his wife Tammy for over 30 years, and they have four adult children and eight  grandchildren.

“I watched my father take care of his mother and later take care of mine (his wife) when she was unable to care for herself. In an attempt to live up to his example I chose to work with TAH. I cannot bear the thought of a woman having to spend the night in her car or on the street. There must be a safer alternative and TAH is there to ensure that there is.”

ROBERT FRAZER

BRITTANY VILLARREAL

BOARD MEMBER

Brittany Villarreal has been a Board Member since 2024. With 16 years of experience in the real estate field, she currently serves as a Brokerage Supervisor at a boutique brokerage that she co-founded with her business partner in 2023. Brittany attends Oaks Church, where she serves alongside her family. In 2023, she completed the UPPERROOM School of Ministry program. She has been married to her husband, Billy, for five years, and together, they have a blended family with four children.

“My testimony is profound, much like the love Jesus has for us. In 2015, I faced a crucial decision rooted in my faith: I chose to leave an abusive marriage while caring for my three children. The pain I experienced during my pregnancies was something only God could heal and restore. He brought the right people into my life, helping me find my footing and create a loving home for my children. There was always a couch to sleep on and a meal to share, even when my car served as my closet. My desire is to minister to women who need unconditional love and support, helping them to feel the love and hope of The Father.”

She has been married to her husband, Robert, for 41 years, and together they have three adult children and four beautiful granddaughters.

“I chose to serve the Anchor Home because of my love for women and want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who need to see Him in a tangible way.”
